The Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) coordinates official development assistance for the Japanese government in developing countries and aims to promote international cooperation by supporting the socio-economic development, recovery, or economic stability of emerging economies.

Mobicom Corporation was established in 1996 as a Mongolian first telecommunication company with joint shareholders Newcom, Sumitomo and KDDI Group. Founded as a joint Mongolian-Japanese venture, Mobicom has grown to become one of the largest telecommunication companies in the country, catering to the evolving needs of its customers.

The Mongolia-Japan Center for Human Resources Development, initiated in 2002 through a collaboration between the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science and the National University of Mongolia, aims to enhance human resources, foster cooperation between Mongolia and Japan, and strengthen mutual understanding. The center focuses on improving human resources, providing Japanese language education and diplomacy.
