We are introducing MonJa mentors. Please welcome Jacob James, partnerships manager at Zoox, an AI and Mobility company. Here he focuses on contract negotiations with external partners and managing CapEx investments, facility expansions and supplier development.

Jacob James has a strong background in electronics and supply chain management. Prior to Zoox, he served as a Global Supply Manager at Cummins Inc., managing electronics suppliers across North America, Europe and East Asia with responsibility for over $40 M in spend. He also held roles as a Product Manager and Lead Engineer.

In addition, he has worked in roles at Amazon Freight and Frost and Sullivan where he focused on various aspects of the logistics industry. At Amazon, he focused on scaling up Amazon’s Europe logistics operations. As a consultant at Frost & Sullivan, he developed JV strategies for global logistics operators, and market sizing and forecasting for logistics and eCommerce in Southeast Asia and East Asia.

Jacob holds an MBA from the National University of Singapore, an MS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Florida, and a BE in Industrial Engineering from Sri Jayachamarajendra College Of Engineering. He also participated in an MBA Exchange Semester at Fudan University and Korea University, gaining additional knowledge in business administration and management.
