We’re introducing MonJa mentors. Please welcome Oko Davaasuren, author, coach and Senior Director of Techstars for the Asia Pacific Region.

With over 15 years of experience in co-founding notable companies and dedicatedly cultivating the startup ecosystem, Oko initiated Ulaanbaatar’s Startup Weekend in 2011. He has co-founded, advised, and played integral roles in several startups across Asia, including MEND.live, And Global, START, iHotel, Erxes, Humuun Publishing, and TUZ Ventures. He has also been an advisor to the Communication and Information Technology Authority of Mongolia since 2021.

Oko mentor received his bachelor’s degree in Finance from Portland State University and earned his MBA in Mongolia.
