We are introducing MonJa mentors, please welcome Satoshi Imura, manager at Deloitte Tohmatsu Venture Support, a consulting firm that provides advisory services on startup acceleration programs as well as open innovation programs for big corporates in cooperation with startups.

Prior to joining Deloitte, Satoshi accumulated careers in sustainability fields as a consultant in PwC and a project manager in an international NGO based in Kenya. Between 2007-2014, he worked for a trading house and engaged in trading and investment in ASEAN countries.

Satoshi has a proven track record of success in the area of startup acceleration providing mentoring and leveraging the relation with big corporates and venture capitals, and also open innovation for big corporates to create new businesses through the strategic partnership with and investments in startups. From the industry perspective, he has great experience and knowledge on climate tech like decarbonization and circular economy. He served as a judge for startup pitch events and business contests several times, like a climate-tech-focused acceleration program organized by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government and Ethiopia Startup Pitch conducted by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
