As the Co-founder of Plug and Play Tech Center, Shingo spearheaded the launch of a new vertical focused on ‘Mobility.’ In this capacity, he actively collaborates with corporate partners and startups worldwide, creating business opportunities for investment and partnership.

Prior to his role at Plug and Play, Shingo worked at Rakuten, where he played a key role in integrating Rakuten features into the Viber messaging app. He worked closely with both Rakuten HQ and Viber HQ, successfully releasing important PMI key features. Additionally, Shingo was responsible for creating and implementing Japanese market KPIs and overseeing marketing activities.

Furthermore, Shingo Ehara served as the Project Leader and Marketing Producer of Rakuten Group SuperSALE, where he received the prestigious Rakuten Award. During this role, he successfully promoted 43 Rakuten Group business units across 100 hours, contributing significantly to the company’s growth and success.

Shingo holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Economics, Rhetoric & Media Studies from Lewis & Clark College.
